Reminder, Annual Mandated Training Required!
Training must be completed every school year before October 1st via the TARGET SOLUTIONS platform by all AVUHSD employees. New employees must complete within 2 weeks of starting. To access the Target Solutions Training Platform go to: www.targetsolutions.com/avuhsd
. You’ll notice a fourth module has been added per the requirements of Assembly Bill 2246 covering youth suicide prevention education for school employees.
You’ll login again using your school email address and the password you entered when you originally validated your account. If you forgot your password, you may use the Password Recovery feature at www.targetsolutions.com/avuhsd
. Helpful Note: When you login, type in lowercase letters, unless you used both uppercase and lowercase in your own password selection.
After you have logged in to Target Solutions using your email address and password, click on the “Self Assign” link to complete the FOUR Mandated Training Modules every year which are.
1. "Child Abuse- Mandated Reporter Training"
2. "Sexual Harassment Awareness (EDU)"
3. "Workplace Diversity (EDU)
4. “Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention (EDU)”
All training modules can be taken at your own speed. Modules can be stopped and started, and will continue where you left off. If you wish to RETURN to a module you have already started, please click the "My Assignments" link. The "My History" link will show you a listing of every module you have successfully completed. You do NOT need to send completion certificates to Personnel. Administration will get a spreadsheet listing everyone’s completions.
Note for all Supervisors, Managers and Administrators only – If you supervise any employees, you must do the TWO HOUR “Sexual Harassment for Supervisors (California AB 1825) (EDU)” module in Target Solutions ALONG WITH “Workplace Diversity EDU”, “Child Abuse - Mandated Reporter”, AND “Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention (EDU)”. You’ll Self-Assign the “Sexual Harassment for Supervisors (California AB 1825) (EDU)”module in-lieu of the “Sexual Harassment EDU” module.
The Back Injury Prevention module is a non-mandatory training but it is strongly suggested you complete it at least once for Safety purposes.
