PAY DATES:
Should any pay day fall on a weekend or holiday, pay day will be the last working day prior. 
The following dates may be revised to accommodate holiday recess schedules:   

Certificated Management Employees:
1st working day of each month   Monthly Salaried Employees (Classified & Certificated) Last Working Day of each month

Classified Hourly & Classified Substitute Employees:
10th & 25th of each month (Dates for collection of hours worked: 1st -15th is paid on 25th of the month; 16th-31st is paid on 10th of the following month).

Certificated Hourly & Certificated Substitute Employees:
5th of each month (Dates for collection of hours worked are the 26th thru the 25th for payment on the 5th).

The act grants some paid sick time for eligible paid temporary employees such as substitutes, tutors and hourly coaches who are not already covered by an AVUHSD paid leave plan.     Note: Regular Teachers, Classified Employees, Managers and Leadership already have established paid leave plans. This does not apply to unpaid volunteers.
