". . .There was an article in the AV Press this morning. Emily Manetti from Quartz Hill H.S. and was accepted into the All State Honor Band and Sean Mehaffy from Lancaster H.S. was accepted into the All State Honor Jazz Ensemble. Over 1600 students from all over California auditioned for positions in these bands. They will present concerts this February 18 & 19 at the All State Band Director conference in Fresno.
Terence Duldulao from Quartz Hill H.S. was accepted to perform with the All Southern Jr. High (7th - 9th grade) All Stars Honor Jazz Ensemble. The band will be performing at Disneyland on February 25 and at the Grove in Anaheim on February 26..."
