TO ALL AVUHSD EMPLOYEES
On behalf of Mat Havens: For those who are interested in accessing the District's EV Charging Stations you will need to obtain a ChargePoint card. If you already have one please send Mat Havens an email so you can be put on the approved list of users. The cost for 2012 is $0.75 per hour with a $2.25 minimum. Yearly increases will be based on the District’s electricity increases. Here are instructions to sign up for the program:
Go to the ChargePoint portal (https://www.chargepointportal.net) and create a new account.
- Sign up to use both free and paid charge stations (an initial charge of $4.95 for the ChargePoint Network RFID card plus a $25 initial deposit is required)
- When the ChargePoint card arrives in the mail a few days later, login to your account and update it with the serial number on your new card. This is the number directly below the bar code.
- Send an email containing your name and your ChargePoint card serial number to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Your ChargePoint card will be added to the district “approved list” within 2 business days.
