On behalf of Mat Havens: For those who are interested in accessing the District's EV Charging Stations you will need to obtain a ChargePoint card. If you already have one please send Mat Havens an email so you can be put on the approved list of users. The cost for 2012 is $0.75 per hour with a $2.25 minimum. Yearly increases will be based on the District’s electricity increases. Here are instructions to sign up for the program:
Go to the ChargePoint portal ( and create a new account.

  1. Sign up to use both free and paid charge stations (an initial charge of $4.95 for the ChargePoint Network RFID card plus a $25 initial deposit is required)
  2. When the ChargePoint card arrives in the mail a few days later, login to your account and update it with the serial number on your new card. This is the number directly below the bar code.
  3. Send an email containing your name and your ChargePoint card serial number to [email protected]
  4. Your ChargePoint card will be added to the district “approved list” within 2 business days.
