Security Tip

Employees - Do you have a valid address on file?

A valid mailing address is required by the District Office to mail items to you such as your checks/stubs, W-2 year end tax statements, retirement balances, health benefit cards, plan information and more. Submit an updated form directly to the Personnel Department.

Holiday Pay Information

To AVUHSD Employees, Teachers and Administrators

  • Pay dates and paycheck pick-up times may be modified for holidays, furlough days, and break periods such as Summer, Spring and Winter breaks.  Please scroll to bottom of page for the latest info!
     
  • At all times, any checks not picked-up on time will be mailed homeALL District Employees should ensure their phone number and mailing address on file is correct. You may submit a Change of Address Form  attention Rachel Orosco, Personnel Services to rorosco@avhsd.orgClick here for Office Hours and Calendars.
     
  • Avoid the hassle!  SET-UP DIRECT DEPOSIT!  Fill out a direct deposit form and return it to payroll.  If you have any questions, please call the District Office (661)948-7655 for Mary Beth at ext. 282,  Dayna at ext. 281, or Cyndie at ext. 258.  Depending on your bank's processing timeframe, it takes ABOUT ten business days for a Direct Deposit request to start, so please DO NOT DELAY in submitting your form to the DO PAYROLL office!

DECEMBER 2012: 

Classified Hourly Employees-
Monday December 10, 2012, checks will be delivered to the sites for distribution as usual. 
Thursday December 20, 2012, checks will be delivered to the sites for distribution as usual.

Classified full-time Employees and Certificated full-time Teachers -
Friday December 28, 2012.  Checks will be available for pick up at the District Office between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.

 

JANUARY 2013

Certificated Substitute and Certificated Hourly-
Friday January 4, 2013 checks will be available for pick up at the District Office between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00a.m.


Classified Hourly Employees-
Thursday January 10, 2013 checks will be available for pick up at the District Office between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.
Friday January 25th 2013 checks will be delivered to the sites for distribution as usual.

 

Please note ….. any checks or stubs that are not picked up will be mailed home. It is recommended that all employees verify that we have their current address on file. If you have any questions, please call Mary Beth at the District Office (661) 948-7655 ext. 282 or Cyndie at ext. 258.

 


HELPFUL TIP:  W-2 EARNINGS STATEMENTS will be sent out DIRECTLY FROM THE L.A. COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION mid-January 2013.  Their office sends the W-2 through the United States Mail to you.  They will charge a $ fee to you for a duplicate/replacement, SO PLEASE ENSURE BEFOREHAND THAT YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IS CORRECT ON FILE WITH THE DISTRICT OFFICE so that you receive your W-2! 

   

November 2012 Paychecks

Classified Hourly employees and Classified Hourly Substitutes pay days are November 9th and November 20th, 2012.  

Checks for November 9thwill be distributed as usual. Regular hourly employees will receive their checks at their school site, and substitute employees can pick up their checks at the District Office between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. 

Checks for Tuesday November 20th will be available for pick up at the District Office in the Board Room between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. ONLY!
