Substitute Deaf and Hard
of Hearing Interpreter, $14.11 per hour as-needed (must be able to
translate spoken word to sign, and sign to spoken word). TEST
DATE TO BE SET UPON SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATION MATERIALS.
Substitute Special Ed Nurse Technician, (LVN required/tube feeding,
trach maintenance, administer meds).
TEST DATE TO BE SET UPON SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATION
MATERIALS.
Substitute Paraeducator, $10.93 per hour as-needed (Work with Severe
Special Education Students one-to-one or in small groups).
ANYONE INTERESTED IN THIS TYPE OF SUB WORK MUST REGISTER
FOR THE INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE ELIGIBILITY EXAM DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF FEBRUARY
2008.
Substitute Cafeteria Worker, NOTE the as-needed hourly rate increased from
$8.78 to $9.89 as of 10/01/07. (food prep/serve, cash handling, cleaning).

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Substitute employees must meet the same requirements for employment as regular classified employees. Substitute's daily assignments are filled through an automated calling system. Sub services are temporary and paid on an hourly basis, and are not eligible for benefits. Substitute employment is on a strictly as-needed basis as determined by the District, and subject to end at any time. Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing test scores, successful interview, reference checks, fingerprint clearances, drug screen, physcial exam and any other required pre-placement clearances as determined by the District.
