Recruitment efforts were aimed at attracting fully credentialed
candidates in the needed fields of science, math and special education. Site
administrators were able to interview candidates in math, science and other
subject areas, and efforts will continue to fill special education vacancies.
In addition to job fairs, the district utilizes a variety of no-cost ($0) internet recruitment resources to post open teaching positions. "Ed Join", one free internet website, is sponsored through the Los Angeles County Office of Education in association with "Cal Teach" and the State of California Teacher Recruitment Centers.
