All classified employees must be able to safely perform the duties of the job. Posted job announcements will list desirable qualifications, physical abilities, and certifications pertinent to the position.
-You must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
-You may be required to hold and maintain a valid California Motor Vehicles Operators License, proper insurance, and a satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicles driving record.
- All employees must present evidence, by Mantoux tuberculin test, of freedom from tuberculosis. Employee responsible to obtain, and present evidence of clearance every four years.
- Must posses and present evidence of a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Successful fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Provided by district- do not obtain on your own.
- Successful completion of any required pre-placement physical exam and drug test. Provided by district - do not obtain on your own.
- Approval by the AVUHSD Board of Trustees.
- If required by job classification, obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certifications.
- If required by job classification, obtain and maintain any other licensure certifications as necessary to the profession.
