Course Description: This course is intended as an introductory program for the health care industry. The student will have both an academic and clinical understanding of the operation of local medical facilities. The student will also have the fundamentals to enter other job training programs, technical or higher education. Training procedures mimic professional settings by requiring students to actively demonstrate the skill taught to the standard required. Students will job shadow in health care facilities.
