Course Description: This course is designed to provide classroom instruction
and hands-on training to prepare students for a career in law enforcement or a law
enforcement related career.

* Platoon formation and the importance of teamwork;
* Marching
* Clean uniform apparel
* Radio center operations and clerical functions
* DUI stops and many other police related scenarios.
Several guest speakers will participate and give knowledge on different types of law enforcement available.
Students will be given the opportunity to go on ride alongs (pending a background check) and we will tour a police department during each semester.
After completing this course students will gain a better understanding of law enforcement and the career fields it offers. Many police departments and agencies welcome ROP students to intern or volunteer. This is an outstanding way to get your foot in the door to the rewarding career of Law Enforcement!
