Course Description: The goals of this class are to streamline administrative procedures for the most frustrating aspect of the doctor’s office – routine insurance billing. This class will introduce students to CMS 1500 universal claim forms, collections strategies, ICD-9 (10) and CPT coding, insurance billing and principals, clearing house verses in-house billing, collections, laws and ethics.
