Course Description: This introductory course establishes a foundation for students interested in careers in pharmacology. The course provides students with the skills needed for reading and transcribing doctors’ orders, preparing dosages, performing pharmaceutical calculations and maintaining inventory control. Customer service skills will also be addressed. Students will also learn medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
