Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) , is a strategic document that outlines goals, actions, and budget allocations to improve student outcomes. It promotes local decision-making, transparency, and community engagement. The LCAP involves gathering input from educational partners, setting goals aligned with state priorities, developing strategies and actions, and tracking progress. It is reviewed and updated annually to ensure it remains responsive to changing needs and drives improvements in student outcomes and educational equity.
The Antelope Valley Union High School District engages in eliciting feedback from our Educational Partners by conducting in-person meetings, virtual meetings, surveys, needs assessments, progress monitoring our LCAP goals and objectives, and familiarizing staff and the community with the revisions and requirements set forth in the Local Control Accountability Plan.
