Knight High School Performs at Carnegie Hall

KHS Chamber Singers had the opportunity to travel to New York over Spring Break and perform in Carnegie Hall - one of the world's most famous concert halls. The last time KHS went to Carnegie Hall was in 2010 and sang with 15 other choirs. This year, because of their achievements, the students had the opportunity to be a featured choir, performing music on their own. We concluded our concert with a world premiere piece. We also worked with Dr. Jace Saplan from the University of Hawaii; Josh Habermann, director of the Dallas Symphony Chorus; Renown choral composer, Z. Randall Stroope; and Broadway Star, Dave Brown. The students will never forget this once in a lifetime opportunity.
