Foster Youth Education

AVUHSD is dedicated to supporting students who have experienced the effects of displacement from family and school through involvement with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.  At AVUHSD, we use a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) framework to support student individual needs such as socioemotional, academic, and peer support. Our students are resilient, courageous, and an asset to our schools and community. We want to ensure they have everything they need to thrive in our schools.
