A public school education and employment service, the WE CARE Transition Program (Work Ethics Career and Real-Life Experiences), provides the opportunity for special education high school students and graduates to gain the skills necessary for successful involvement in employment and adult life.
This program involves the student, the family, Antelope Valley Union High School District, and all other resource providers in the Antelope Valley as needed. Working together, we assess needs, plan and initiate education, seek and secure employment, and direct both students and adults to available recreational activities. Eligible students enrolled in Special Education have the opportunity to apply for the services offered by WE CARE.
