One big thing you have to think about when you are planning for the rest of your life is what you’re going to do for employment.

Employment – you know, having a job and a career. This, of course, is really important in the overall scheme of things. If you want to live more independently, travel, buy things, pay your bills, save for a car, or something else you want, you’ve got to have money and money comes from working.

The mission of DCDT is to promote national and international efforts to improve the quality of, and access to, career/vocational and transition services, increase the participation of education in career development and transition goals, and to influence policies affecting career development and transition services for persons with disabilities.
